Vanessa graduated from Kosmetae in 2003, Vanessa truly cares about the well-being of her guests. Vanessa is known as one of the Fraser Valley's best Brazillian waxers. She is specially trained in her facial techniques and keeps up to date on all the new industry technology by participating in continuing education on a regular basis. Vanessa is trained in 3D brows- Microblading and Dermaplaning which is now added to her extensive repertoire. Vanessa has a huge heart and brilliant sense of humor and absolutely loves her career.

ALLISON// REMOTE MANAGER

Allison started her career in 2005 at another local spa in Abbotsford as a spa/salon assistant and as an apprentice Laser Tech. Allison went to take her Nail Technician course and completed her certification. Allison always takes the time to give you her very best. She is fun-loving, warm-hearted, and very passionate about her work. As of January 2019, Allison is excited to continue to give you her best in her new position. She will no longer be performing services after years of dedication to her guests. Allison will now be in a position to help Darling & Dapper to be the best they can be. When you come into the shop, Allison will be here to greet and assist you with her friendly smile.

Fun fact: Her hubby’s nickname for her is “Hot Midget”

ZENA// HAIR ARTIST//SALON COORDINATOR

 Meet Zena! A passionate hairstylist with over a decade of experience on the salon floor, Zena is a proud graduate of Sukis Academy who’s always eager to learn and grow.Previously a Gold Key for Kevin Murphy, she now shines as a Regional Educator with ASP, specializing in blended blondes and rich browns. Hair isn't just a job for Zena; it's her true calling! When she’s not transforming locks, you can find her hanging out with her two boys and her playful Wire-Haired Pointing Griffons, Paloma and Lemon. Zena loves learning to skateboard, working on her podcast with her sisters, and cooking up a storm while dancing in the kitchen!In summer, she embraces her green thumb by gardening and creating her own delicious teas & let’s not forget! Her husband Quin is not just her partner but her bestie!

JESSICA// ESTHETICIAN

Jessica has been an aesthetician since 2011 after completing her advanced aesthetician course at Kosmetae Academy. Since completing her schooling, she has worked in a variety of spas before finding her place at Darling and Dapper. Jessica loves making people feel comfortable, relaxed and thrilled with their services. Her favourite services include hair removal, lash extensions, makeup and manicure and pedicure! She loves the before and after.

When Jessica is not at the shop, she works at a local non-profit organization, and spends time with her family (It’s a small zoo!)

SARAH// HAIR ARTIST

Sarah trained at John Casablance Institue in Vancouver. She has a passion for lived in natural tones from highlights and blonding to helping clients transition to natural grey. She also loves to help you live on the wild side with bold, vivid colours. Sarah’s talents continues with extensions, both beaded and tape in. Sarah loves making you feel beautiful for those extra special occasions, such as grad, weddings, romantic night out, etc.

ANGELINA// ESTHETICIAN

Angelina specializing in lashes and facials. With her mastery of the wet lash look and her ability to provide incredibly relaxing facials, Angelina offers a truly indulgent experience. When she’s not pampering clients, you might find her enjoying a leisurely hike, sipping on a refreshing iced coffee, or indulging in her love of cooking and binge watching desperate house wives.

A graduate of Kosmetae Academy in 2022, Angelina is skilled in a variety of treatments, including dermaplaning, hair removal, and manicures and pedicures. Her warm and inviting personality makes her a joy to be around, and her expertise in the beauty industry ensures that every client leaves feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
