Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that allows dramatic correction or full reconstruction of lost eyebrows. It is performed by manually depositing pigment under the top layer of the skin by the use of a special pen. Microblading involves drawing individual, crisp hair strokes that are more natural-looking. The blade/needles of the Microblading pen are 3 times thinner than the needles used for tattooing. When performed correctly, the procedure is almost painless. Technicians also use a numbing cream to limit discomfort.

The results can last up to 2 years and will require a renewal procedure between 18-24 months. The Microblading procedure itself takes approximately 20 mins; the appointment takes about 2 hours in total. During this time you will receive a complimentary treatment while the numbing cream takes effect. The client will return in approximately 4-6 weeks as the colour can fade up to 40% after the initial treatment. More colour is then applied to perfect the overall shape and look of the eyebrow.

This semi-permanent makeup technique is the newest craze. By using a fine blade and pigment, we create microscopic fine hairs on the skin. Because the pigment is deposited just below the epidermis of the skin, it is not permanent. This treatment creates realistic 3D hairs so that the brow looks completely natural.
